Easily the longest hanger rods we have ever installed. This curtain is suspended 2435mm from the ceiling above.
The Silent Gliss 6100 track was selected for this application due its strength and varying fixing possibilities. The hanger rods were tapped in house and special track inserts used to ensure the strongest possible connection between rods and track.
An additional two rods as well as a wall bracket were installed at the ends where the curtains would stack. With a combined weight of about 60 kgs we needed to be certain the hardware would be strong enough to support the load.

Once the track was installed, a further four sections were installed perpendicular to the track and into the wall. This ensured lateral stability and reduced movement and sway in the track during operation.
