A prime example of curtains effectively being used as space division, allowing flexibility within the workplace and an opportunity to add colour and texture.

We were pretty excited when Buro North approached us with their plans for two large suspended curtain systems.

The project involved two very large circular tracks with an SFOLD curtain complete with a concealed heading. A concealed heading ensures the header tape and any studs generally seen at the back of a curtain are concealed with a fold of fabric.

Warwick Cleo in colours Army and Fern were selected. This smooth low pile velvet not only looks great but also provides some acoustic value.

The hanger rods are securely fixed into the concrete slab above. Multiple rods were used not only to support the weight of the curtain but also to provide lateral stability to the tracking system.

Both systems were custom curved to a specific radius and then powder coated in a custom white Powdercoat finish.
