Glider/roller options
Silent Gliss curtain tracks are available with a selection of different glider / roller choices. The most suitable glider or roller for your project will vary depending on the curtain heading style, track type, curtain weight and aesthetic you are looking to achieve.
We have outlined the different carrier systems below and their suitability for various applications. Please ensure the track type you are specifying has your carrier system listed as an option prior to finalising any specification.
2C Glider

2C Glider (two component glider).

These gliders are manufactured using two materials, a hard component which ensures stability and a soft filling to absorb unwanted noise.

Suitable for light - medium weight curtains.

For use with traditional style curtain headings such as pencil pleat, pinch pleat, inverted pleat etc (not wave).

Tracks are supplied with 10 gliders per metre unless otherwise requested.

Available in white or black.

Distance from underside of track to inside edge of glider eye is 7mm. Detail below referring to this shows 6840 profile however the same is applicable to other systems.
6283 Roller

6283 roller.

Suitable for light - medium weight curtains.

For use with traditional style curtain headings such as pencil pleat, pinch pleat, inverted pleat etc (not wave).

Tracks are supplied with 10 rollers per metre unless otherwise requested.

Ideal for long tracks with joins as the wheeled roller allows for smoother transition over joins.

Available in white only.

Distance from underside of track to inside edge of glider eye is 7mm. Detail below referring to this shows 6840 profile however the same is applicable to other systems.
6098 Roller

6098 heavy duty roller.

Nylon composition with stainless steel eyelet.

Suitable for light - heavy weight curtains.

For use with traditional style curtain headings such as pencil pleat, pinch pleat, inverted pleat etc (not wave).

Tracks are supplied with 10 rollers per metre unless otherwise requested.

Ideal for long tracks with joins as the wheeled roller allows for smoother transition over joins.

Different eyelet height compared with other options.

Available in white and black.

Wave 60

Wave 60mm glider cord. Gliders are connected with an internal carrier cord - 60mm refers to the spacing between each glider.

Suitable for light - medium weight curtains.

Wave width of 60mm, Wave depth of 110mm - see diagram.

120mm hook spacing on back of Wave tape.

Approx 2.3x fullness.

Approx 230mm curtain stack per metre of track.

Wave 80

Wave 80mm glider cord. Gliders are connected with an internal carrier cord - 80mm refers to the spacing between each glider.
